LUXEMBOURG: CSSF Reporting Instructions under Article 37 of the Money Market Funds Regulation

Following the publication of ESMA’s amended XML schema (version 1.1) and reporting instructions for MMF reporting on its website, the CSSF has published the national specifications to be respected by the entities under its supervision in order to submit the reporting of money market funds:

• MMFR Handbook
• XML LU specifications for MMF reporting

The CSSF has implemented the amended XML schema with the transmission channels and will issue a separate communication once reporting entities may use the amended XML schema to provide the reporting files.

The reference period for the first reporting remains however Q1 2020 but the submission to National Competent Authorities of the quarterly reportings for Q1 and Q2 2020 is postponed to September 2020.
