UNITED STATES: EDGARLink Online XML Technical Specification Updated

The EDGARLink Online (ELO) XML Technical specification (Version 36) document details the valid structure and content of the EDGARLink Online (ELO) Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR) Extensible Markup Language (XML) submission types. This specification provides, to those filers that are interested, a basis for creating XML submissions without the use of the EDGAR OnlineForms/XML Website.

On September 20, 2021, EDGAR Release 21.3 will introduce the following changes:

The system is updated to include the following two new form types:

• SBS DISPUTE NOTICE: Security-Based Swap Entity Valuation Dispute Notice
• SBS DISPUTE NOTICE/A: Amendment to Security-Based Swap Entity Valuation Dispute Notice
• N-RN: Current Report for Registered Management Investment Companies and Business Development Companies
• N-RN/A: Amendment to Current Report for Registered Management Investment Companies and Business Development Companies

Updated Table 1-1: Single Filer to include the two new form types SBS DISPUTE NOTICE and SBS DISPUTE NOTICE/A

Updated 3.4.1.1 to include two new form types SBS DISPUTE NOTICE and SBS DISPUTE NOTICE/A

Updated Table 1-2: Single Filer SC to include the two new form types N-RN and N-RN/A

Updated 3.4.2 to include two new form types N-RN and N-RN/A

Updated 4.4 to include OTHER for new form types N-RN and N-RN/A

Updated Table 1-8: CoReg Serial to include the new form type 424I

Updated 3.4.7 to include new form type 424I

Updated Table 7-1: Sample Submission Files for N-RN and 424I

Updated Table 6-1: Error Condition Summary for 424I
